Himalaya Expedition 2023
We are working hard to fundraise for our expedition to India. In the summer of 2023, the Hatters Explorer Scout Unit are delivering a once in a life time and life changing experience for our young people in India and Nepal. We’ll trek and raft in the Himalayas, sightsee in India and Nepal, immerse ourselves in local culture, teach school children in remote villages and deliver an optical project that will give the gift of sight to those who cannot see due to old age and are based in remote areas meaning that they would not usually be able to access the service.

Southgate District Scout Council (303656) is raising funds for the Hatters’ Himalaya Expedition. The objective is to raise sufficient funds to send our members on this once in a lifetime adventure that will include an optical project giving the gift of sight to the elderly.
Each individual has been set a fundraising target against which funds will be allocated.
