Welcome to the Monopoly Run!

Please enter your team name below and then carefully read the instructions.

Instructions and Rules

  1. Visit as many locations as you possibly can on the Monopoly Board you have been given. Every location visited will mean points for your team.
  2. Completing a whole colour set on the board will win bonus points for the team.
  3. If you are the first team a street on the board, you will automatically be assigned a house at that location. You will be awarded points for every time that another arrives at the location. No other teams will know who has a house on the street.
  4. All teams will be sent Chance Cards at random and will be notified. These may result in addition of, or reduction of points.
  5. Teams will be sent a Community Chest Card for every 5 streets that they visit. Community Chest Cards will always benefit the team.
  6. Additional points will be awarded for the following:
    • A photo with another Scout (5 points)
    • A photo acting a famous scene from a movie (10 points)
    • A photo with a monarch (5 points)
    • A photo with a lion (5 points)
    • A photo in front of a palace (15 points)
  7. Every team must meet the leader team in front of the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank between 12 and 12:30pm.
  8. All points will be wiped if teams are not in front of the The National Gallery at Trafalgar Square by 3pm

What to do when you reach a street on the board?

  1. Take a group photo where we can clearly see the location that you have arrived at. If it isn’t obvious, you may not be awarded the points.

  3. No other teams will know that you have reached the street and uploaded a photo. If you are the first, you will receive an extra 15 points every time another team uploads a photo at that street.
  4. Don’t forget that you get extra points for a whole colour set of streets.

In an emergency


Please contact the leader team before you do anything else. Ensure that you have at
least two phones with plenty of battery in the group to keep in contact with the leader
team.
You can share location in WhatsApp using our team chat. If at any point you need some
help and cannot contact the leader team, you can hand these numbers to anyone to
contact us for you.
